Ways to Practice Peace in Your Life

Meditate/pray daily. Set aside time to be quiet not only to speak to God but to listen.

Pay attention to your thoughts. Consciously choose to think good and kind thoughts about yourself and others.

Let go of any desire you have for vengeance or punishment against anyone.

Choose something you are passionate about and make a difference through your service to others.

Be grateful for your life.

Affirm each day, and many times a day that you are
one with the Source of Life, that you are loved and
cared for in ways you cannot even imagine.

Remind yourself regularly that whatever you think,
do, or say to others you are sending the same curse or
blessing onto yourself.

Healing our relationships is one way we create peace in ourselves and in our world. This practice can transform negative thoughts and judgments that generate both internal and external disharmony.

Take an inventory of your relationships and identify someone about whom you have negative thoughts. It may be someone you think of often or very rarely. You may want to begin with a relationship that is not highly charged emotionally.

Make a list of 4 things you would like to have in your own life. For example, good health, prosperity, inner peace, harmonious relationships etc. Each day of the week send a blessing to yourself asking for one of the gifts to be present in your life. Then ask that this gift also be manifest in the life of the person you have identified. After 7 days change to the next gift you have chosen. Continue this process for one month.

Here is a model you can follow:
I give thanks for all the gifts and blessings of my life. In humbleness I ask that my life be filled with inner peace, not only today but always. I also ask that (person’s name) be blessed richly with the gift of inner peace, not only today but always. I am grateful for this gift of inner peace with which we have both been blessed.

Living In Light Blog
Read @ http://innerlighthealingcenter.wordpress.com

This blog is dedicated to claiming and living in the light that shines in each of us. We have all spent enough time wandering around in darkness, looking for answers to how to be and live. We believe the time has come to open our hearts and minds to accept and manifest goodness, grace, peace, abundance, and joy in our everyday life. At this critical time in history, we have the opportunity to choose to live and act in ways that will support and encourage these qualities in life. This blog will be a chronicle of that process as we experience it. We invite your participation and ask for your comments, insights and musings. This is a journey that will prove to bring us closer to living as we were created to live – in harmony within our self, and with one another and the earth. We hope you will join us regularly on this important and exciting path.

I attended your Stories of Hope and it was wonderful. I was so relaxed and felt so peaceful. Thank you for a truly healing evening!
