The therapy relationship needs to be a place of safety, in which clients can discover and reinforce their own strengths and capacities to find solutions to painful circumstances. As a therapist, I hope to be a guide as clients explore methods for healing that match their values, allowing them to live a life of meaning, purpose, and integrity. I utilize a variety of approaches in helping clients be their best, including developmental theory, solution focused techniques, and cognitive behavioral strategies.
